I dout its very praktikal... square: all 4 sides same leng... & diagonal=root(sum av square av 2 sides)... =root(2)*(side leng)... sum av 1 side & diagonal=[1+root(2)} * (side leng)... root(2)=1.41421 35623 73095 04880 16887 24209 69807... sum=2.41421.......times leng av 1 side
