A land developer purcheses 25 3/4 acres of land and plans to
set aside 4 acres for and entranceway to a housing development
to be built on the property. Each house will be built on a 3/4- acre
plot of land. How many houses houses does the developer plan
to build on the property?____houses

After subtracting the acres set aside for the entrance,
the developer has 25.75 - 4
= 21.75 acres

To find out how many houses can be built, divide the total acres
by the size of each lot. 21.75 / 0.75 = 29
