The Solution for your question is very simple

Step 1: Multiply the terms 3 x 0.6

Step 2: After multiplying the integer with the decimal number just check the number of digits right side of the decimal point and now count the resultant value from right to left and place the decimal point accordingly.....

For your question the answer is 1.8 because there is only one digit after decimal point.
