We can simplify it, but we can't solve it (like x=3 or something) because it's not equal to anything.

2v(8v^6 * x^6)(2x^8)

The numbers can all come out front like this

(2*8*2) v (v^6 * x^6) (x^8)

32 v (v^6 * x^6) * x^8

Now collect the v's like this

32 v^7 (x^6) * x^8

Now collect the x's like this

32 v^7 x^14

That's the answer.
