how do you you use the graphing & addition method for this problem
2x-y=7
-x+2y=-5

2 * (2x - y) = 2 * 7
   4x - 2y = 14
+(-x + 2y = -5)
------------------
   3x        = 9
x = 3

-x + 2y = -5
-3 + 2y = -5
2y = -2
y = -1

If you graph these two equations, you will have
two lines that intersect at (3, -1)
