1 Answer

y=2x+4

this is in slope intercept format

y = Mx + b

M = slope = 2

b = y-intercept = 4 or point (0,4)

To graph start on the y-axis at (0,4) go up 2 and over to the right 1 this gives 2 points and you can graph the line.

the parallel line is y = 2(x + 3) or y = 2x + 6
