The question was simplify (x-2) ^(1/2)
they simplified it down to x^((-2*)1/2))   which I don't understand

from there they got    x^-1   which I understand

look tu me like 2 equashuns...no konnekt tween em

1...(x-2)^1/2=sqrt(x-2)

2...x^(-2*1/2)=x^-1 =1/x

if sqrt(x-2)=(1/x), then x-2=1/x^2

or x^2*(x-2)=1

???? x^3 -x2^2 -1=0 ???
