line 1: 2x-8y=16

line 2: 3x +2y=29  or 12x+8y =116

line1 + line2...(2x+12x) +(8y-8y)=132

14x=132

x=9.4285714

from line2, 2y=29-3x=29-28.285714

2y=0.714286

y=0.357143
