formulas to add all numbers from 1 to n

i want to know the formulas how to add all numbers from 1 to 50 except using the formula:-(n*n+1)/2

sum av konsequetiv numbers such av 1+2+3+4+....+n

last number=start number +(n-1)*stepsize

averaej=(start number +last number)/2

sum=n*averaej

note that stepsize kan be 1, 2, 3, 1.7, 8.93, 0.5...
