the solutions to y^2-4y+4=36 by comlete the squear. is

y^2-4y=32

y²+2ay+a²=(y+a)²

4y=2ay-

4y/2y=a-

4/2-=a

2-=a

2^2-=4

y^2-4y+4=32+4

(y+2)²=32+4

6*6=36

y+2=6

y=4

(-6)*(-6)=36

y+2=-6

y=-6-2

y=-8

y=4,-8
