Solve whats contained in the parenthesis first.

(10x6)+(34x2)

I'm going to take a lenghty route here for explanatory reasons.

Multiplication is the same as addition done a number of times.

10 added 6 times, and 34 added twice

(10+10+10+10+10+10)+(34+34)

or

Six added 10 times and 2 added 34 times.

(6+6+6+6+6+6+6+6+6+6)

plus

(2+2+2+2+2+2+2+2+2+2+2+2+2+2+2+2+2+2+2+2+2+2+2+2+2+2+2+2+2+2+2+2+2+2)

Either way you get.

(60)+(68)

You can now remove the parenthesis.

60+68 = 128

(10x6)+(34x2)

= 10 x 34

=340

10 x 2

= 20

6 x 34

= 204

6 x 2

= 12

340 + 20 + 204 + 12

= 576
