Please help to solve this question

Question

Hamza and his sister Iqra are at the stadium to practice running. If Hamza starts 2 seconds
later than Iqra he will take 8 seconds to catch up with her. If Hamza starts to run only when
Iqra is 8 meters ahead of him he will take 5 seconds to catch up with her. If Hamza’s speed is
‘x’ m/second and Iqra’s speed is y m/second. Form two equations in ‘x’ and y and solve them
to find the value of x and y.
