SYNTHETIC DIVISION

                        -------      -7x +14  ---------------------

 x+2                                7x^2-28

----------------                 -7x^2-14x

                                                 14x+28

                                                 ---------------------

now then

-7x+14=0

-7x= -14

x=14/7

so
