The expression x^2 + 6x + 9 is already in its simplest form.

If what you are looking for is a solution to

x^2 + 6x + 9 = 0

using quadratic formula:

x = (-6 +/- SQR(36 - 4(1)(9)))/2(1)

x = -6/2 = -3

x^2 + 6x + 9

(x+3)(x+3)

to solve it make it equal to zero

(x+3)(x+3)=0

x+3=0

x=-3
