the key to rounding numbers is baasically you have to look at the units the tens or hundreds or thousands. if i had 95 and you had to round that to the nearest ten you look at the units it is a 5. i was taught that if it is 4 or below you go down the number line if it is 5 or up you go forwards to the next ten. So 95 will go to 100.
