3x(x+1)(x-2)  -4(x+1)(x-2)

3x(x^2 -2x +1x -2)                            -4(x^2-2x+1x-2)

3x^3 -6x^2 +3x^2 -6x                      -4x^2+8x-4x+8

3x^3 -3x^2 -6x                                -4x^2+4x+8

3x^3-7x^2-2x+8

=3x^3 -7x^2 -2x +8

here are the steps where i worked out the problem.
