What is the answer to this word problem?

A coat cost $60 more than a dress. Two coats and 4 dresses cost $420. Find the cost of each.

Coat = dress + $ 60  call this eq1
2Coat + 4 Dress = $ 420 call this eq2
in eq1
Coat - Dress = 60 call this eq3
multiply eq3 by 4
4Coats - 4Dress = 4(60) calll this eq5
eq2 add to eq5
6Coats + 0 = 660
Coat  = 660 / 6

Coat =  $110

from eq1 → Coat = Dress + $ 60

Dress = Coat - 60
Dress = 110 - 60

Dress = $50
