-40x^2+16x-1=9x^2+2x

16x - 1 = 49x^2 + 2x

-1 = 49x^2 - 14x

0 = 49x^2 - 14x + 1

0 = (7x   ) (7x   )

0 = (7x   1) (7x   1)

0 = (7x - 1) (7x - 1)

Factored:  (7x-1)^2 = 0

7x - 1 = 0

7x = 1

Solved:  x = 1/7
