y=(x-1)^2 -4

or x^2 -2x-3=0, wich become

(x-3)*(x+1)

so x=0 at x=3 or -1   (2 points)

krats sumtimes kall the zeroes av y the "x-intersepts"

basikially a parabola that go up as x get big
