X:12:18=7:8:Y

The numbers correspond to each other in order.  The x:7, the 18:y and the 12:8.

Start at 12:8 it is a fraction.

12/8 = 3/2

So, 3*7:7 and 18:18/2

21:7 and 18:9

x = 21, y = 9
