(1-0.08)^x=18000/40000=0.45

0.92^x=0.45

log(0.92^x)=log(0.45)

x*log(0.92)=log(4.5)

x=log(4.5) /log(0.92)

=0.653212513/ (-0.036212172)

=-18.0384789
