Questions I can't get

1) - 3.68x = -20.52x - 1.7. Round to the nearest tenth

2)  17x - 19 = 106 Round to the nearest hundredth

3) -36 -19x =14. Round to the nearest tenth.

4) 14x - 8 = -33 + 2x. Round to the nearest hundredth.

5) -12.6 + 10.5x = 8x - 7.2. Round to the nearest tenth.

1)

-3.66x = -20.52x - 1.7  to nearest tenth

add 20.52x to both sides:

20.52x - 3.66x = -1.7

16.86x = -1.7

divide both sides by 16.86:

x = -1.7/16.86 = -0.1  to nearest tenth

2)

17x - 19 = 106  to nearest hundredth

add 19 to both sides:

17x = 125

divide both sides by 17:

x = 125/17 = 7.35 to nearest hundredth

3)

-36 - 19x = 14  to nearest tenth

add 36 to both sides:

-19x = 50

divide both sides by -19:

x = 50/-19 = -2.6 to nearest tenth

4)

14x - 8 = -33 + 2x   to nearest hundredth

add 8 to both sides:

14x = -25 + 2x

subtract 2x from both sides:

12x = -25

divide both sides by 12:

x = -25/12 = -2.08 to nearest hundredth

5)

-12.6 + 10.5x = 8x - 7.2  to nearest tenth

add 12.6 to both sides:

10.5x = 8x + 5.4

subtract 8x from both sides:

2.5x = 5.4

divide both sides by 2.5:

x = 5.4/2.5 = 2.2 to nearest tenth
