Bring 2/3 to left by adding it on each side. 2/3 + 1/3 = 3/3 = 1.
You now have 4x/5 = 1. Multiply both sides by 5 to get rid of the 5 in your denominator (bottom). You now have 4x = 5. Now divide both sides by 4. X = 5/4.

If you are separating terms that are multiplicative, you need to divide. Like 4x = 5, divide by 4 on both sides to get x = 5/4. Same idea for division, but multiply. Example: 4x/5 = 1 becomes 4x = 1 when you multiply both sides by 5 (on top).
