using the function f(x)=x^2-4x-2 g(x)=x+7 find (f.g)(x)

f(x) = x^2 - 4x - 2,    g(x) = x + 7

fg(x) = g^2 - 4g - 2

fg(x) = (x + 7)^2 - 4(x + 7) - 2

fg(x) = x^2 + 14x + 49 - 4x - 28 - 2

fg(x) = x^2 + 10x + 19
