I am putting together a matrix for tennis tournaments.  I have two groups of 16 players, one half men and one half women as adjacent groups.  I want to see how many different mixed doubles formats I can put together.  This would be eight courts of mixed doubles and at least 3 rounds where no two people are on the same court.

The format would be

A+1 VS B+2 and so on so all courts are filled.

I also need this same answer for matrixes with all multiples of four....12,16,20,24 up to 52.

I am trying to set up a software program driven by formulas.
