A man decided to buy furniture from Futuristic Furniture for $2600.  They gave the man 2 choices: pay the entire amt in one payment with cash or pay $1,000 as a downpayment and $120 a month for two full years in the financial plan.  if the man chooses the financial plan, how much more would he pay?

Answer 1

Amount paid in financial plan
= $1000 + 24*($120)
= $1000 + $2880
= $3880

Amount more paid
= $3880 - $2600
= $1280
