To answer that, change the dividend into a decimal. Now it would be 2.00 divided by 3. The answer would be 0.66666666666666666 OR six tenths + two-thirds.

 

If you do another number, like 2 divided by 5, you do the same thing. Answer would be 0.40 or 0.4 because there are infinite zeros behind the decimal
