1. Cleo earns $6 per hour babysitting.  She puts $15 each week into the bank and spends $5 each week on lunches.  If she babysits 4 hours each week for 3 weeks, how much money will she have for vacation? 

Use the expression w(6h - 15 - 5), where w represents the number of weeks and h is the number of hours worked.

A.  Substitute the values into the expression and simplify. (10 points)

B.  Answer the question - How much money will she have for vacation? (5 points)

w = 3 and h = 4

w(6h - 15 - 5)
= 3(6(4) - 15 - 5)
= 3(24 - 20)
= 3(4)
= 12

B)

If we do not consider the money in bank, she will have $12 for vacation.
If we consider the money in bank as well, she will have $45 + $12 = $57 for vacation.
