Your supposed to have two answers. One positive,which is this one. then one negetive. I had this on a test and I recieved half credit because I did the positive one correct but im pretty sure I did this one right to. I just want to see the steps to see if I had done them correctly beccause I cant figure out what I did wrong!

Once you bring the 3 to the other side of the equal sign, you have an absolute value (which will always be positive) equal to -18.  not possible
