Find an equation for the line with given properties. Express
your answer using General form or thr slope-intercept form,
whichever you perfer.
Parallel to the line y= -3x: containing the point (-1,2)

y = mx + b
b = y - mx
b = 2 - (-3 * -1)
b = 2 - (3)
b = 2 - 3
b = -1

The equation is y = -3x -1
