We can't solve this without the rest of the equation.  Is the quation y = (x^2 - 4)/(x^2 - 9) or y + 1 = (x^2 - 4)/(x^2 - 9) or y^2 + 347y + 192 = (x^2 - 4)/(x^2 - 9) or what?
