-3y=9+6x

3y=-6x-9

y=-2x-3

Always leave the independent variable a the left side:

3 y  = - 6 x  -   9

Finding the equation model (y = mx + b). Divide both sides by 3:

y  =  - 2 X   - 3

This equation has a negative slope (m = -2) and cut the negative y-axis at -3.
