find the measure of an angle such that the sum of th measures of its compliment and its supplement is 110.

The compliment is 90 - x
The supplement is 180 - x
(90-x) + (180-x) = 110
90 + 180 - x - x = 270 - 2x = 110
270 - 110 = 2x
160 = 2x
80 = x

x is 80 degrees, its complement is 10 degrees, its supplement is 100 degrees
100 + 10 = 110
