A factory produces x and y with a profit P=14x + 22Y - 900. The production of y can exceed x by no more than 200 units. Production levels are limited by the formula x + y is less than or equal to 1600. What production levels yield maximum profit?

make more profit from y, so max y

but hav limit...ymax=x+200

& x+y <=1600,

so x+(x+200)=1600

2x=1400, x=700 & y=900

profit=14x+22y-900

=14*700 +22*900 -900

=9,800 +19,800 -900

=28,700
