In Hagan (2010), we learn about the measures of central tendency, mean, median and mode.  Mean is the average and median is the middle number in a set of scores.  Does this sound like the same thing to you?  Review pages 334-335 and calculate the mean and median for the following yearly salaries and then discuss how they are different.
