How do you solve 3m+4.5=15?

First, subtract 4.5 from each side of the equation.

This will leave you with 3m=10.5. Now divide each

side by 3. This will leave you with m=3.5(answer)

To check your work, replace 3.5 with m.

Thus 3(3.5)=10.5+4.5=15. Make sure your decimals

are lined up correctly.
