Just need some help with this problem, it's probably super easy for other people and it's driving me crazy. I wish I could find a step by step calculator but nope non available.

root(x+2) -2x=1

root(x+2)=2x+1

(x+2)=(2x+1)^2=4x^2+2x+1

4x^2 +(2x-x)+(1-2)=0

4x^2 +x-1=0

x=0.3903882 or -0.6403882
