Simplify :-

8 / 9 - 5 / 6

Take out the LCM of 9 and 6. The LCM IS 18. Now,

= 8 / 9 - 5 / 6 = 16 - 15 / 18

8/9 - 5/6 = 1/18 How? Do the LCM (Least Common Multiple if you didnt know) of 9 and 6 and you get 18. Next turn both deninators to 18 and subtract 16/18 and 15/18 and get 1/18 Your Welcome :)
