1 positive # is 5 times another #, the difference between the 2 # is 68, find the numbers.

My hubby and I are stumped on this one indecision  I need a break down for it.

y=5x

 y-x=68 or y=x+68

so, 5x=x+68

4x=68

x=17

y=5*17=85
