i need help with answering this math problem i dont know if i need to make the 32 to a mixed fraction or not by borrowing one

you do not need to covert the 32 into mixed fraction, just leave it the way it is and add it to whole numbers. But you need to convert the two fractions so that the denominator is the same otherwise you cannot add them
