0.09x + 2 = 6.5

Subtract 2 from both sides of the equation:

0.09x + 2 - 2 = 6.5 - 2

0.09x = 4.5

So now you can divide both sides of the equation by 0.09 to find out the value of 'x':

0.09x/0.09 = 4.5/0.09

x = 50
