5x+11=4x+18

ok so you want to get the "x" by itself so first you have to subtract 11 and add it to the 18 on the other side

it should look like this

5x=4x+ 7

now you want to get the like terms together so you subtract the 4x and add it to the 5x side

it should look like this

1x=7 or because 1x is also equal to x you could write it like this

x=7   hope that helped a little
