the answer for 5+5x5+5 is 100
cause add first the both 5+5 then the answer would be 10 and so the other 5+5.
then your solution right now is 10x10...
then now multiply 10x10 then the answer is now 100.

this person answered your question is a Grade 6 student. thank you :)
by
Wrong! MULTIPLICATION FIRST!
that is wrong if you are going to do it like that then you need to do it in order then add the fives but the question did not even say in placement but nice try anyways
He's right and wrong at the same time also im in 6th grade too but homeschooled : )  any ways  you need to do multiplication first i have a hard time on the but ALWAYS REMEMBER  : P*E*M*D*A*S  IT WILL HELP ALSO USE YOUTUBE IT HELPS YOUTUBE IS LIFE WITHOUT WE WILL DIE

5X5= 25

5+ 25= 30

30+5=35
by
The Answer is 35, the first thing you have to solve is the multiplication, so you will have 5+5x5+5=5+25+5=35----------> it can´t be 100. because you have 5+5x5+5, not (5+5)x(5+5).
by
the anser is 100
by
You have done the addition first
You need to do multiplication first
5+5x5+5=35

5x5=25+5=30+5=35
by
if it stands (5+5)(5+5) = 100

but if it only stands 5+5*5+5 = 55
It's a talk about placement for + and *

and unless it's ( and ) in it you are going from left to right...

5+5x5+5=

Answer is 35... because...

The rules are (in this order)  x, :, +, -

First you do 5x5 => 25

Second you add 5+ => 30

Third you add +5 => 35

by
35 because of pemdas
by
it ist really 35 because you have first multiplie 5*5 and second you have to add. that is the rule of mathematic

if it would (5+5)*(5+5) then it is 100

The answer is: 35

Solution is simple - first you need to mare multiplication and division then is summation and deduction... if you want to do it in different order you NEED to use brackets!!!

So the solution is like this: 5 + 5 x 5 + 5 = 5 + (5 x 5) + 5 = 35

If you want to do summation or deduction first you need to type it explicitly:

for example: (5 + 5) x 5 + 5 = 55

or (5 + 5) x (5 + 5) = 100

Enjoy...

35 because order of operations makes 5x5 = 25 then add 5 which = 30 and another 5 = 35 :)
by
(5)+(5*5)+(5)=35
by
The answer is 35. You need to use the order of operations. Brackets, Exponents,, division, multiplication, addition, subtraction. So you do multiplication first. 5x5=25. So the problem now looks like 5+25+5. So now do addition. 5+25=30. 30+5=35. Problem=solved.

by
The answer is 35.

Following BODMAS (or whichever form of it suits you best) the multiplcation is done first then the addition:

5+5x5+5 = 5+25+5 = 35
by
5+5=10              10*5= 50              50+5=55
by

The answer is 55?
by

First in Math resolves operations multiplication and division, then addition and subtraction, then: 5 +5 +5 x5 = 5 + (5x5) = 5 +5 +25 +5 = 35.

by
my answer is 55 because of please excuse my dear aunt sally. please - parentheses excuse- exponents  my - multiply dear- divide aunt - add sally- subtract. divide comes first but there's no division so you multiply first and add and subtract add come first but there's no subtraction so you add! so you multiply first then add! that's my answer no judge!

5+5=10 5x5= 25 5+5=10 = 35
by

what is 5+5 =??????????

by

It would help if you added a close and open pharenthesis. But I'll use MDAS instead so 5*5=25.. Then since Division is not included we move on to addition. So 5+25+5= 35!

                                                          35!!!

by
Multiplication before addition.

5*5=25

5+5=10

25+10=35
by

IF THERE ARE NO BRACKETS THEN IT IS STILL MULTIPLICATION FIRST ANYWAY!!!!!!!

5+5x5+5=35

Primeiro te k se fazer a multiplicaçao da 25.       Depois só se junta os restantes 5's e dá 35.
by
5+5x5+5= 5+ 25 +5= 30+5=35
by
the answer is 35  from PEMDAS Rule

Steps:

 1.  5x5=25

  2.  25+5+5=35
by
35 please excuse my dear aunt Sally which means parentheses exponents multiplication add subtraction from left to right 5+5*5+5/ 5*5=25+5+5=35
by
5 + 5 x 5 + 5 = (5+5) x (5+5) = 10 x10 = 100
by
5+5*5+5= 5+(5*5)+5= 5+25+5= 35
by
5+5x5= 50
by
5+5x5+5 is 55 but are you yousing placement then it would be 35 because if it was placment you start with mutliply then add but if not then it is 55.

5+5x5+5=???

Solve 5 x 5 = 25

25 + 5 = 30

30 + 5 = 35

by Level 1 User (300 points)
You ALWAYS do the multiplication FIRST. so 5x5=35+ 5+ 5 =35
by
5+5x5+5=35
by
You need to add first 5+5 then you take that answer and × by 5 which is 50 then the last step is to +5 so the answer would be 55.
by
5+5*5+5=?? Multiplication first 5*5=25 5+25+5=35
by
35

Follow Order of Operations:
Parentheses

Exponents

Multiplication

Division

Addition

Subtraction

Since there are no parentheses or exponents, you skip to multiplication. You evaluate 5 x 5, which equals 25. Your equation would now read 5+25+5= x

There is no division, so skip to addition. The total of the three numbers is 35, which is your answer.
by

Using PEMDAS...

-5x5= -25

-25+5= -20

-20+5= -15

Is -15 the answer?

by
Answer is 35

Multiply first, then add.
by

There can be three different answers.enlightened

(1)  5+5 = 10

      10 x 5 = 50

      50+5 = 55

(2)  5+5 = 10

      5+5 = 10

     10 x 10 = 100

(3)  5 x 5 = 25

      5+5 = 10

     25+10 = 35

(4)   Coment down below if you know the Fourth method of finding the Correct Answer..

by
According to BODMASS RULE it is multiplication first and addition next

So , 5*5=25,5+5=10

25 + 10 =35

How does 5555=7
by
35 In this case you would start with multiplication. 5*5=25 5+5=10 25+10=35 35 is the final answer. This is a 7th grade student. I know my stuff.
