3x + 5 / 2x + 7 = 4

By doing cross multiplication of both the sides, we get :

3x + 5 = 4( 2x+ 7)

3x + 5 = 8x + 28

Nowe, bring (x) to one side

3x - 8x = 28 - 5

- 5x = 23

x = 23/ -5

x =  -(4.6) answer
