Let one number be n then the other number will be 4n.

Given 1/n  +  1/4n = 5/28

4/4n + 1/4n = 5/28

5/4n = 5/28

1/4n = 1/28

4n=28

n=28/4

n=7

4n=28

n=28/4

n=7

The numbers are 7 and 28
