Given an X intercept of 2 and a Y intercept of -4 what would the equation of the line be in slope intercept form? Please explain of possible. Thanks.

Find the slope of those to points, starting your formula:

f(x) = mx+b where m=slope

plug in x and y values and solve for b. rewrite equation with new b.
