10 ft * 10 ft * 0.4 ft

10/3 yd * 10/3 yd * 4/30 yd

400/270 yd^3

40/27 yd^3

.

Way 2:

10 ft * 10 ft * 0.4 ft

40 ft^3

40 ft^3 * ( 1 yd^3 / 27 ft^3)

40/27 yd^3
