4=2/9 times 4y- 2/9 times 2 2/9 times 4 equals 8 because 2/9 times 4/1 becomes 36/9 and etc... 2/9 times 2 equals 36/9 when simplified equals 4. the equation is know 4= 8y-4. then, add 4 to both sides of the equation making the equation, 8=8y then divide making y=1. I didn't know it either, but I figured it out just know when I was writing. i am now a secret genius!!!
