first, solv the equashun: 3x^2-14x-5=0

quadratik: (x-5)(x+0.3333)=0

tell yu it kross x-axis at x=5 & x=-0.3333

3*x^2 tell yu its a parabola that go up...its axis is vertikal

hit y axis at x=0...at y=-5

slope av kerv=derivativ=6x-14.

This =0 at x=14/6=7/3  that is bottom a parabola=weer slope=0...horizontal
