4(x-6)=-2(x-3)  I see that we can divide both sides by 2

2(x - 6) = -(x - 3)

2x - 12 = -x + 3   distrbute the values.

add x and 12 to both sides.

2x + x = 3 + 12

3x = 15

x = 5

4(x-6)= -2(x-3)

4x-24 = -2x+6

4x+2x = 6+24

6x = 30

X = 5

4(x~5)=2(x+5).
